Terilyn Marshelle-Fleming plays Fera, wife of Camden, played by Jorell Stills Haigler. They are best friends of Quinn, played by James Gill. Bonnie Piesse plays Sidonia, Medina’s mysterious psychic friend. Andre Correa plays Medina’s ex-love interest. Julio Perez plays Medina’s kung fu master.

Why did you make this film?

ANSWER:

A rough concept of this film actually began in 1990 as a novel I was trying to write. I never finished it because I came across many stumbling blocks. It was only until the last couple of years that I realized I can revive the concept by revising the plot and characters and turning it into a film.

Where did the concept come from?

ANSWER:

The characters are loosely based on people that I have known and events I’ve experienced. The characters have distinct personalities and have the kind of friendship that lasts a very long time. These are the traits I hope the actors in the film will faithfully project.

Do you have a role in this film?

ANSWER:

Yes. I have a cameo and play a waiter that makes a very brief appearance, and only seen from the neck down.

When will the film be released?

ANSWER:

The film is currently entered in several film festivals and competitions. The first public screening will take place between November 17 to 24 at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival. The venue is the Quad Cinema on 34 West 13th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues), New York, NY. A small promo table will be set up on opening night to promote the movie.

The next public screening after that will be on Tuesday, December 13 at 8:00pm by NewFilmmakers. The venue is the Anthology Film Archives on 32 Second Avenue and 2nd Street, New York, NY.
